Arsenal’s ‘Invincible’ season in 2003/04 still stands today as one of the greatest achievements in Premier League history, and so, with this coming year marking the 20th anniversary of that feat, Adidas have drawn inspiration from the kit worn by that record-breaking team. The Arsenal Home Shirt 23/24 features a new shade of striking red offset with a white sleeve and a lightning bolt pattern which flows vertically from top to bottom.
The new Arsenal shirt draws on the invincible and invincible winning spirit of the "Undefeated Gunners" in the 2003-04 season to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Arsenal's "unbeaten championship" season in the Premier League. The Arsenal club crest, adidas logo and the three stripes on the sleeves are all in gold, while the historic season's record of 26 wins and 12 draws is embellished on the side strip of the player's version of the replica football kits.
Arsenal legend, Ray Parlour, said: “Playing in that season twenty years ago, surrounded by so many wonderful players is something I will never forget, and it is great to see we are celebrating our club history by bringing out this new home shirt – something I think all the supporters will truly love.”think all the supporters will truly love.”
