Welcome back to Ashton New Road, the home that embodies the spirit of Manchester. In 2003, Manchester City embarked on a journey that would redefine their identity and shape their future. Leaving behind their historic home at Maine Road, they found a new abode three and a half miles away, the Etihad Stadium. With the unveiling of the 2023/24 Home Kit, Manchester City pays homage to their iconic stadium and the countless memories created within its walls.
The front graphic of the new Man City home kit 23 24 is inspired by the unique architecture of the Etihad Stadium, in particular the four giant turrets visible from the outside of the stadium that form tonal stripes on the Manchester City football kits.
The postcode of the stadium is displayed on the back of the neck to celebrate 20 years at City’s new home and the jersey features a white V-neck collar that is inspired by the first kit used in the new stadium, the 2003/04 Home jersey.
Club Ambassador Shaun Wright-Phillips, who was part of the 2003/04 team during the inaugural season at the Etihad said: “The Etihad Stadium plays an important role in Manchester City’s history.
